Burkina Faso

Half of the privileged partner countries of Luxembourg’s Development Cooperation are located in Western Africa. Burkina Faso is one of them.

The broad lines of cooperation between Luxembourg and Burkina Faso are defined in the Indicative Cooperation Programme (ICP) signed between the two governments for 2008-2012.

The programme mainly focuses on the following sectors:

• rural development;
• technical and vocational training.
