Laos

Together with Vietnam, Laos is one of the two privileged partner countries of Luxembourg’s Development Cooperation in Asia. The projects that Lux-Development implements in Laos fall within the framework of the second Indicative Cooperation Programme (ICP) 2007–2010 signed between the governments of Luxembourg and Laos.

Lux-Development also implements one rural development project in Laos on behalf of the Luxembourg Ministry of Finance. Since its first health project in 1997, the Agency has implemented its projects in the following sectors:

• health;
• integrated rural development;
• vocational training.
