Mali

Mali is one of Luxembourg's privileged partner countries in terms of Development Cooperation. Lux-Development has been active here since the year 2000.

All projects currently underway are carried out within the framework of the Indicative Cooperation Programme (ICP). The last ICP was signed in January 2007 between the governments of Luxembourg and Mali for the period extending from 2007-2011.

These projects mainly focus on the following sectors:

• education, capacity building;
• good governance ;
• health ;
• water and sanitation ;
• rural development.
