Namibia

Lux-Development’s activities carried out in this project country on behalf of the Luxembourg Cooperation effort are concentrated in the North (Kavango, Caprivi, Otjozondjupa and Omaheke regions). They fall within the framework of the Indicative Cooperation Programme (ICP) signed between the governments of Luxembourg and Namibia for the years 2007 to 2010.

The projects managed by Lux-Development in Namibia mainly focus on the following sectors:

• HIV/AIDS ;
• education and vocational training;
• local development, including local governance;
• technical assistance in finance and banking systems;
• technical assistance in development planning.
