Senegal

Senegal is among the privileged partner countries of Luxembourg’s Cooperation effort. Lux-Development has implemented projects in Senegal since late 1980’s.

All projects currently underway are carried out within the framework of the Indicative Cooperation Programme (ICP). The last ICP was signed in January 2007 between the governments of Luxembourg and Sénégal for the period extending from 2007-2011.

These projects mainly concern the following sectors:

• education, vocational training and capacity building
• health ;
• water and sanitation.
